think i'm getting more and more lazy to blog. haha.
anyway latin feste was yesterday and somehow it all passed in a flash. can't really remember what i did in the performance, like just zoom past. but it was great; the caderas were fabulous and we had fun and the contestants were sporting and the crowd was great and thanks to everyone who came down to support! after all these weeks of training we finally pulled it off. =) *hugs* especially the ex-co and sub-com people who worked so hard and were so stressed and tired for the last few weeks.
after that dunno why very tired, din even social. went back to the room quite early. took more photos (i look fat but nvm.. haha). those who have photos please send asap k! shall bring my own cam next time. didn't take with as many people as i would have liked. haha. i'm norm not a cam whore but the others look so pretty in their make up and costume i wanna take and keep to remember the occasion by.
personally i don't think i performed as well as i could have. some steps felt a bit anyhow and some parts too slow, like foot got caught on something. smile was a bit fake / strained at some parts as well. think a bit distracted by the lights and crowd. i almost don't feel like i'm in myself; it's like watching someone else dance from outside my own body. haha. the lights bah.. not used to it. good thing is can't really see the faces of the audience? lol.
helped clean up then hang around waiting for people and to decide where to go for supper. went to this really nice and yummy tim sum place in geylang. the zhu chang fen is really unique and nice. love the chicken wings too. and the siew mai and porridge. thinking about it makes me feel like eating them now. ahhhh... i wanna go there eat again!
but geylang like quite scary. eat halfway we heard a crash. turns out this guy a few tables from us got smashed by a chair by another guy. didn't really kpo cuz other people crowded around and blocked the view (besides, the food is nicer =x). according to M, who went over to check so that he can 'report' to us, the guy was bleeding and just lying there. but apparently he's not too badly injured cuz after a while he got up and walked away. stun sia. we thought that's the end of it but the police and ambulance came. last we saw, the guy was in handcuffs being led away from the police. dunno if they caught the guy who smashed him with the chair. speculation was, the victim must have done something to the guy / looked at his girlfriend the wrong way. haha. C said like 'so exciting. must watch'. K was like 'so scary, can we go home'. lol. anyway someone (M i think) commented 'sgrean really bo chap. people get beaten up we still sitting down here eating.' haha. err.. i think if not your business, dun go busy body, later you also kena. especially geylang where the gangs will come faster than the police (according to C) =x
mm... why so many nice food in geylang arr? very unsafe to go there alone leh...
gah... gtg... and i bought my stats book to sch for nth... =x
